Boris Shostak vs Leonardo Lattuca

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Genoa Tremaglia, Genoa,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Boris Shostak (4 - 0) who hails from Donetsk, Ukraine and Leonardo Lattuca(5 - 12 - 3) from Rome, Italy.  Shostak weighed in at 199 pounds And 15 ounces, while Lattuca weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marco Masoero, and the three ringside judges are Emilio Benetti, Fabio Porrazzini and Marco Masoero.  

Round 1: 

Shostak tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Lattuca lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Lattuca steps inside.  As Shostak tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lattuca dabs at his face checking for damage.  Lattuca has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Shostak steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.

Lattuca closes the distance.  Shostak pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Shostak steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Shostak switches the action to the outside.  Lattuca lands a cross.  Lattuca tries to land a cross, but Shostak slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Lattuca's body.  
Lattuca forces Shostak to retreat into a corner.  Lattuca sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Shostak pivots to the left of his opponent andLattuca wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shostak dabs at his face checking for damage.

Lattuca advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Shostak in the red corner.  Shostak attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Lattuca time to recover.
