Suk-young Lim vs Kook-young Um

Boxing Daily Report from the Biekro Promotions promoted show at Incheon Pyun, Incheon,  taking place on 31/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Korea-Incheon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Suk-young Lim (14 - 6(1)) who hails from Incheon, South Korea and Kook-young Um(14 - 4 - 5) from Incheon, South Korea.  Lim weighed in at 140 pounds, while Um weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bo-kyung Pak, and the three ringside judges are Yong-jae Ho, Hyun-jun Noh and Sung-yun Chang.  

Round 1: 

Lim hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Um tries to keep the action at long range.  Lim finds the target with a jab.

Um throws a left uppercut, but Lim clinches his opponent.  Lim leans on his opponent using all his weight. Lim hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Lim and breaks the clinch.
