Azam Kassem vs Waleed Rais

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Isfahan promoted show at Isfahan Ismael, Isfahan,  taking place on 01/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-Isfahan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Azam Kassem (2 - 4 - 2) who hails from Isfahan, Iran and Waleed Rais(9 - 1) from Isfahan, Iran.  Both Kassem and Rais weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jawad Jama, and the three ringside judges are Rehan Siddiqui, Jawad Jama and Haaris Mazari.  

Round 1: 

Kassem is looking to close the distance.  Kassem pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Kassem lands a jab.  
Kassem switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Rais lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kassem connects with an overhand right.  
Kassem advances into close range.  Kassem sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
