Hugh Johns vs Mark Carrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Harvey McDermott Gym, Durham,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Johns (12 - 6 - 3) who hails from Durham, USA and Mark Carrick(13 - 4 - 2) from Raleigh, USA.  Both Johns and Carrick weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan Creelman, and the three ringside judges are Arthur Atcheson, Alen Corson and John Gerrie.  

Round 1: 

Johns attempts to land a cross, but Carrick parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
