Oja Gyimah vs Marinus Cronje

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Eastern Cape promoted show at Rivaldo Nyauza Gym, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 05/07/2025:

Clearly AI South Africa-Eastern Cape have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Eastern Cape Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oja Gyimah (4 - 3 - 3) who hails from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Marinus Cronje(10 - 0) from East London, South Africa.  Both Gyimah and Cronje weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Matata, and the three ringside judges are Clint Mambweni, Mason Baramoto and Borg Cronje.  

Round 1: 

Gyimah tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
