Robert Odoki vs Gareth Bhimji

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Kampala Nakitanda, Kampala,  taking place on 03/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Robert Odoki (9 - 5 - 2) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Gareth Bhimji(9 - 0 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Odoki and Bhimji weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aftab Majid, and the three ringside judges are Mark Hamya, Robert Ngologoza and Rehman Madani.
