Rehman Kaddouri vs Abdul Najeeb

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Abu Dhabi promoted show at Al Ain Zadeh, Al Ain,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Abu Dhabi Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehman Kaddouri (11 - 6 - 1) who hails from Al Ain, UAE and Abdul Najeeb(6 - 9) from Abu Dhabi, UAE.  Both Kaddouri and Najeeb weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Majid Alshehhi, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Rehmann, Rehman Salaam and Atif Jameel.  

Round 1: 

Kaddouri is on target with a left uppercut.

Kaddouri steps inside.  Kaddouri connects with a right hook.  Kaddouri wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Najeeb dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Najeeb.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
