Saad Azim vs Amer Farid

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Yemen-Aden promoted show at Aden Maforige, Aden,  taking place on 04/08/2025:

Clearly AI Yemen-Aden have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Aden Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saad Azim (4 - 0 - 1) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Amer Farid(15 - 0) from Aden, Yemen.  Both Azim and Farid weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ahmed Burhan, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Alfarooq, Rashid Ebrahim and Syed Alhamdan.  

Round 1: 

Farid advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Azim steps away from his opponent.  Azim quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Farid attempts to land a cross, but Azim blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Farid closes the distance and forces Azim to back into a neutral corner.  Farid hits home with a right uppercut.  
Azim finds the target with a jab.  
Farid is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Azim throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Farid's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
