Steven Yegon vs Quaddus Kipsang

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Zach Masamba Gym, Naivasha,  taking place on 05/08/2025:

Clearly AI Kenya-Nakuru have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nakuru Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Yegon (7 - 0) who hails from Naivasha, Kenya and Quaddus Kipsang(1 - 9 - 5) from Naivasha, Kenya.  Yegon weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces, while Kipsang weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mike Redsan, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Atwoli, Jay Butita and Ibrahim Halaby.
