Neil Cowen vs Michael Salmeron

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Santa Ana Blackshaw, Santa Ana,  taking place on 05/08/2025:

Clearly Bones Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil Cowen (10 - 5) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Michael Salmeron(12 - 7 - 4) from San Jose, USA.  Both Cowen and Salmeron weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Rhydderch, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Kinnon, Patrick Barro and Ian Blevens.  

Round 1: 

Cowen lands with a stiff jab.  
Cowen lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cowen drives a left uppercut into Salmeron's ribs.
