Yulian Zorig vs Paul Martin

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Geelong Baseball Centre, Geelong,  taking place on 09/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Yulian Zorig (3 - 0) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Paul Martin(4 - 16 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Zorig and Martin weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dom Clapperton, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Waugh, Gus Seward and Alastair MacIntyre.  

Round 1: 

Zorig closes the distance.  Zorig pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a stinging left hook.
