Amjad Abdelrahman vs Amer Lahood

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Sharjah Saab, Sharjah,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Amjad Abdelrahman (3 - 0) who hails from Abu Dhabi, UAE and Amer Lahood(5 - 13 - 2) from Dubai, UAE.  Abdelrahman weighed in at 245 pounds And 12 ounces, while Lahood weighed in at 233 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zain Ibrahim, and the three ringside judges are Amer Ullah, Zain Warraq and Malik Bakir.  

Round 1: 

Abdelrahman hits home with a left hook.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lahood dabs at his face checking for damage.

Abdelrahman throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Abdelrahman clinches his opponent.  Abdelrahman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
