Lao-Tzu Hsiao vs Aki Inouye

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Okazaki Ueno, Okazaki,  taking place on 16/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Lao-Tzu Hsiao (4(4) - 0) who hails from Zigong, China and Aki Inouye(0 - 0 - 2) from Hirakata, Japan.  Both Hsiao and Inouye weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiro Murano, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Sando, Michi Sonoda and Hiro Sonoda.  

Round 1: 

Hsiao tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Inouye steps inside and manages to force Hsiao onto the ropes.  Hsiao hits home with a firm right hook.

Inouye gets on the inside.  Hsiao pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Inouye closes the distance.  Hsiao pivots to the side of his opponent.  Inouye throws a left uppercut, but Hsiao holds on to his opponent.  Hsiao hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hsiao to stop fouling.  
Inouye is not fighting as well as he'd like.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed south of the border! The ref halts the action and sends Hsiao to the neutral corner.    He tells Inouye to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.  
Inouye is looking to close the distance.  Hsiao lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Inouye quickly recovers. 
Hsiao lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.

Inouye gets on the inside.  Hsiao sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Hsiao connects with a VICIOUS right uppercut.  DOWN GOES INOUYE!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Hsiao!
