Sam Preece vs Paul Craw

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Montreal's Gym, Montreal,  taking place on 09/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sam Preece (2 - 0) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Paul Craw(5 - 3(1)) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Both Preece and Craw weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Morton, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Girardot, James Dunlap and James Mabon.  

Round 1: 

Craw steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Preece tries to tag Craw on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Craw lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Preece is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Preece throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Preece lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Preece closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Preece ties up his opponent.  Preece is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Preece is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Preece advances into close range.  Craw throws a left hook, but Preece clinches his opponent.  Preece is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Preece and breaks the clinch.  
Preece pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Preece gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Craw throws a right hook, but Preece ties up his opponent.  Preece leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Preece lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Craw throws a left hook, but Preece ties up his opponent.  Preece tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Craw behind the head. The referee warns Preece and breaks the clinch.  
Preece drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Craw steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  Craw tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Preece drives a right hook into Craw's body.
