Santiago Dario vs Leonel Lares

Boxing Daily Report from the Ace Boxing promoted show at Jenny Craig Pavilion, San Diego,  taking place on 27/09/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Dario (14(4) - 0) who hails from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic and Leonel Lares(16 - 0) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Both Dario and Lares weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Fergusson, and the three ringside judges are Rob Prichard, Vince Aitken and Mike Sander.
