Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Coliseo Pedrin Zorrilla, San Juan,  taking place on 15/09/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Puerto Rico Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montenegro El Pirolitico Merino (11 - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Alejandro Corbo(13 - 4) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Merino and Corbo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Laurel, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Fallas, Ricardo Montemayor and Alejandro Mayor.
