Fidel Cara vs Enzo Castrejon

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Don Haskins Convention Center, El Paso,  taking place on 29/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fidel Cara (24(22) - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Enzo Castrejon(14(1) - 1) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Cara and Castrejon weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Greenshields, and the three ringside judges are Brett Sproule, Henry Messer and Asif Farra.  

Round 1: 

Cara lands a stinging cross.  
Castrejon throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Castrejon closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Cara ties up his opponent.  Cara pushes his forearm into Castrejon's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cara to stop fouling.  
Castrejon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cara lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cara closes the distance.  Castrejon is on target with a right hook to Cara's ribs.  
Cara switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Cara tries to step out of his opponents range.  Castrejon lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Cara lands a SAVAGE cross.  CASTREJON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Castrejon quickly recovers.
