Eldar Alekserov vs Hamid Hannan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Qadir Bakhlulov Gym, Sumqayit,  taking place on 14/07/2025:

Clearly AI Azerbaijan-Absheron have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eldar Alekserov (7 - 2) who hails from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan and Hamid Hannan(9 - 1 - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Alekserov weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces, while Hannan weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alesger Aslanov, and the three ringside judges are Waleed Khokhar, Malik Shabazz and Urfan Abaskuliyev.
