Eren Gurcan vs Bora Eroglu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Istanbul Pamuk, Istanbul,  taking place on 11/08/2025:

Clearly AI Turkey-Istanbul have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Istanbul Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eren Gurcan (4 - 3 - 4) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Bora Eroglu(7 - 6 - 5) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Both Gurcan and Eroglu weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cagatay Akbulut, and the three ringside judges are Ilhami Sokmen, Mehmed Ihsanoglu and Devrim Saygi.  

Round 1: 

Eroglu lands a cross.  
Eroglu tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Gurcan is looking to close the distance.  Gurcan retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Eroglu steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
