Naoki Hirota vs Fo-hai Tu

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 16/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the East Asian Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Naoki Hirota (15 - 3(2)) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Fo-hai Tu(13 - 2(1) - 2) from Beijing, China.  Hirota weighed in at 223 pounds, while Tu weighed in at 215 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kaede Tsuchida, and the three ringside judges are Isamu Nonaka, Dai Fujita and Isamu Shibuya.
