Ashley Farney vs Duncan Boyle

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 23/08/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ashley Farney (7 - 4 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Duncan Boyle(13 - 3(1) - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Farney weighed in at 240 pounds and 5 ounces, while Boyle weighed in at 240 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Gollon, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Feamster, Sammy Feamster and Robert Reekie.  

Round 1: 

Boyle steps inside and connects with a right hook.  Boyle clinches his opponent.  Farney is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Boyle pushes his forearm into Farney's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
