Manu Mutapa vs Nwa Kariuki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Lusaka promoted show at Lusaka Shimpande, Lusaka,  taking place on 14/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Manu Mutapa (9 - 3(2)) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Nwa Kariuki(11 - 7) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Mutapa weighed in at 159 pounds and 12 ounces, while Kariuki weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Leshina, and the three ringside judges are Kwamin Sichinga, Lakista Jumbo and Lakista Goma.
