Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Guseynov, Baku,  taking place on 14/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jawad Salam (11(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Nusrat Shahverdiev(7 - 5 - 3) from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.  Both Salam and Shahverdiev weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alekber Ameen, and the three ringside judges are Bashir Amirbeyov, Hafiz Allahverdiev and Israfil Hajiyev.
