Malcolm Galati vs Brett McWhinnie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Dom Kennedy Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 14/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malcolm Galati (9 - 9 - 3) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Brett McWhinnie(4 - 0) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Galati and McWhinnie weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Waugh, and the three ringside judges are John Kissick, Andy Wright and Michael Donn.  

Round 1: 

McWhinnie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
McWhinnie pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
