>>>Due to not meeting the sanctioning bodies 10 week cut off regulation, Vashon Magqwaka has been stripped as Southern African Lightweight champion. The fighter will be unable to compete for this sanctioning bodies titles for 6 months.

Okay, Magqwaka signed to fight for the *African* Lightweight title, that bout to take place 9 February 2030.  His last fight was 6 October 2029.  To my eye he's well past the 70-day cutoff and is being punished by Southern Africa, a sanctioning body he didn't offend.  And African Fusion will be punished by M-Net for not providing a fight we'd contracted for.

Where have I gone astray?

Magqwaka was Southern African champ and having accepted a postponement offer from the challenger, the mand due date was pushed to 6th April 2030.  So the 10 week cut off for the Southern African title is towards the end of January.  This means that if a fight is scheduled after that cut off, he loses the southern african title position.

When  purse bids completed for the African title fight on 18th December, a fight was scheduled for 9th Feb 2030 which is after the cut off date for the Southern African title.  Therefore, he got stripped of that title position.

Note that if you had been offered the mandatory fight on 9th Feb, the screen would not have allowed you to accept it due to the Southern African title obligation.  Same if you tried to make a fight after the cut-off yourself.  Its only due to the fight going to purse bids that it could be made and caused that title to get stripped.
