Richie Quartey vs Quoitrel Berko

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2024,  taking place on 26/03/2024 from Tamale, Ghana:

The Tamale venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Richie Quartey (41(2) - 10) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Quoitrel Berko(16 - 19) from Kumasi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Quartey steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Quartey pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Quartey gets on the inside.  Berko lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Quartey steps inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Quartey drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Quartey gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Quartey is on target with a jab to Berko's body.  
Quartey steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Quartey is on target with a sharp jab.  
Quartey steps inside.  Berko tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.
