Boxing Daily Report from the Greece National Finals 2024,  taking place on 29/03/2024 from Peristeri, Greece:

The Peristeri venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mentor Petracca (28(3) - 10) who hails from Athens, Greece and Oceanus Alexopoulos(8 - 10) from Piraeus, Greece.  

Round 1: 

Alexopoulos sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Petracca lands a jab to Alexopoulos's body.  
Petracca advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Petracca drives a left hook into Alexopoulos's body.

Petracca cuts off the ring, trapping Alexopoulos on the ropes.  Petracca pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Petracca gets on the inside.  Alexopoulos hits home with a left hook.  
Petracca is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Alexopoulos slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
