Boxing Daily Report from the Slovakia National Finals 2024,  taking place on 26/04/2024 from Bratislava, Slovakia:

The Bratislava venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Pravoslav Kostelac (3 - 4) who hails from Bratislava, Slovakia and Sobeslav Kotrba(12(1) - 16) from Kosice, Slovakia.  

Round 1: 

Kotrba walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Kotrba is on target with a cross.

Kostelac closes the distance and forces Kotrba to retreat into a neutral corner.  Kotrba digs in a stinging left hook to Kostelac's ribs.  
Kostelac is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kotrba lands an overhand left, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Kotrba sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kotrba steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kotrba tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kotrba drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Kostelac attempts to land a jab, but Kotrba sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Kotrba steps away from his opponent.  Kotrba quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid overhand left.
