Sebastian Degenstein vs Trent Gervin

Boxing Daily Report from the Germany National Finals 2025,  taking place on 26/03/2025 from Bremen, Germany:

The Bremen venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sebastian Degenstein (9 - 10) who hails from Braunschweig, Germany and Trent Gervin(24(6) - 20(3)) from Stuttgart, Germany.  

Round 1: 

Gervin is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gervin connects with a right hook.  
Gervin is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Degenstein closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Gervin holds on to his opponent.  Gervin pushes his forearm into Degenstein's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gervin to stop fouling.  
Gervin lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Gervin lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Gervin throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Gervin clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Degenstein tries to land a left uppercut, but Gervin slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Degenstein steps to the outside.  Gervin hits home with a solid cross.  
Gervin is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gervin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Degenstein throws a left hook, but Gervin ties up his opponent.  Degenstein leans on his opponent using all his weight. Degenstein is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Degenstein to stop fouling.

Gervin manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Gervin lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Degenstein steps away from his opponent.  Gervin finds the target with a jab.  Gervin throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Gervin lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Degenstein pivots to the side of his opponent, but Gervin is on target with a right uppercut to Degenstein's ribs.  
Degenstein is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a sharp jab.  
Gervin lands a jab, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.
