Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2027,  taking place on 11/03/2027 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.

Nepomuceno forces Maduro to back into the ropes.  Nepomuceno quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Maduro lands a solid jab.  
Maduro steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Nepomuceno advances into close range.  Nepomuceno sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Maduro lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Maduro ties up his opponent.  Maduro throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Maduro switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.
