Alen Connell vs Brendan Bendick

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2027,  taking place on 29/03/2027 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alen Connell (15 - 16) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Brendan Bendick(14 - 14) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Bendick drives a right uppercut into Connell's body.

Bendick is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Connell clinches his opponent.  Connell is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Connell's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bendick pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bendick pivots to the side of his opponent.  Connell lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Connell holds on to his opponent.  Connell leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.
