Ben Burke vs Edward Leishman

Boxing Daily Report from the UK National Finals 2028,  taking place on 26/04/2028 from Bolton, UK:

The Bolton venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ben Burke (6 - 14) who hails from Bristol, UK and Edward Leishman(2 - 6(1)) from Liverpool, UK.  

Round 1:

Leishman lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Burke tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Leishman steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Burke on the ropes.  Leishman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Leishman throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Burke finds the target with a jab.  
Burke quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Burke feints a cross, and then lands three consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Leishman finds the target with a jab.  
Leishman tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Leishman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Burke pushes his forearm into Leishman's face.  The referee warns Burke and breaks the clinch.  
Burke steps to the outside.  Leishman finds the target with a jab.  Leishman tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Leishman walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Burke is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Leishman lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Burke lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Leishman is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Burke's body.  
Burke tries to keep the action at long range.  Burke sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.
