Alen Ervine vs Josh Blackard

Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2029,  taking place on 17/03/2029 from Saskatoon, Canada:

The Saskatoon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alen Ervine (17(2) - 19) who hails from Halifax, Canada and Josh Blackard(27 - 9) from Halifax, Canada.  

Round 1:

Blackard gets on the inside.  Ervine pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ervine steps away from his opponent.  Ervine drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Blackard tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Blackard attempts to land a cross, but Ervine slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Blackard gets on the inside.  Ervine is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.

Ervine tries to step out of his opponents range.  Ervine is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Blackard snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.

Blackard gets on the inside.  Ervine quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Blackard drives a left hook into Ervine's liver.  
Ervine is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Ervine pivots from in front of his opponent, but Blackard hits home with a spiteful jab.
