Dan Peairs vs James Mallis

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2029,  taking place on 01/04/2029 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dan Peairs (13 - 17) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and James Mallis(6 - 4) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Mallis drives a jab into Peairs's body.  
Peairs quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mallis tries to land a jab, but Peairs dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Mallis steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mallis lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Mallis lands a jab.  
Mallis connects with a right uppercut.  Mallis goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Peairs time to recover.
