Boxing Daily Report from the Nicaragua National Finals 2029,  taking place on 11/04/2029 from Leon, Nicaragua:

The Leon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Pedro Pablo (17 - 11) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Ryo Taveras(17 - 8) from Managua, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Taveras drives a left hook into Pablo's body.

Taveras manouvers Pablo into the red corner.  Pablo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pablo steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pablo lands a left hook.  Pablo attempts to land a right uppercut, but Taveras parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Taveras closes the distance.  Pablo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Pablo tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Taveras gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Taveras gets on the inside.  Taveras sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Pablo's ribs.
