Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2030,  taking place on 01/04/2030 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dan Maddix (13 - 26) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Max Urey(17 - 14) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Urey closes the distance.  Urey pivots from in front of his opponent, but Maddix is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Urey steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Maddix feints a left hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maddix is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Maddix sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Urey steps inside.  Maddix throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
