Dave Sanders vs Michael Egabashian

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/04/2030 from Sydney, Australia:

The Sydney venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (14 - 2) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Michael Egabashian(15(1) - 12) from Sydney, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Egabashian gets on the inside.  Egabashian pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Sanders's body.  
Sanders drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Sanders connects with a right uppercut.  
Egabashian drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Sanders feints a jab, fooling Egabashian into launching a left uppercut counter.  Sanders springs the trap, countering with  a cross.  
Egabashian manages to force Sanders into the blue corner.  Egabashian lands a left hook.  
Egabashian lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Egabashian tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Sanders tries to keep the action at long range.  Sanders feints a jab, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Sanders attempts to land a jab, but Egabashian sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Egabashian is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but Sanders ties up his opponent.  Sanders leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Sanders throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Sanders is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sanders about fouling.
