Charles Harding vs Phil Vasallo

Boxing Daily Report from the USA National Finals 2030,  taking place on 26/04/2030 from Henderson, USA:

The Henderson venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Charles Harding (9 - 16) who hails from Houston, USA and Phil Vasallo(22 - 12) from Jacksonville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Harding steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Vasallo parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Harding lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Harding throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Vasallo steps inside.  Vasallo pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Harding tries to step out of his opponents range.  Harding quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Harding throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Harding lands a jab.  
Harding lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Harding connects with a sharp overhand left.  
Vasallo sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Harding connects with a left hook.  
Vasallo advances into close range.  Vasallo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Vasallo is on target with a left hook to Harding's body.  
Harding steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Vasallo steps inside.  Vasallo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Harding switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Vasallo steps inside and walks Harding down, trapping him on the ropes.  Vasallo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Vasallo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Harding attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Vasallo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Vasallo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Harding finds the target with a jab.  
Vasallo advances into close range.  Harding throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Vasallo is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Vasallo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Vasallo lands a jab.  
Harding steps to the outside and lands a sharp jab.

Vasallo walks Harding down, trapping him on the ropes.  Vasallo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Vasallo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Vasallo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Vasallo pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into Harding's body.  
Harding steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Vasallo closes the distance.  Harding throws a left hook, but Vasallo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Vasallo pushes his forearm into Harding's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vasallo to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Harding's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Harding lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Vasallo advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Vasallo is looking to keep his distance.  Vasallo sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Harding lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Vasallo steps to the outside.  Harding attempts to land an overhand right, but Vasallo dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Vasallo steps inside.  Vasallo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.
