Zachary Aikens vs Arnie Groves

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/05/2030 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Zachary Aikens (9 - 4) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Arnie Groves(14 - 15) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Groves advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Aikens tries to step out of his opponents range.  Groves lands a hard jab.  
Groves forces Aikens to back into the corner.  Aikens lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Aikens drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Groves throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Groves advances into close range.  Groves sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Aikens attempts to land a left hook, but Groves sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Groves advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Groves feints a right hook, and then goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Aikens's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
