Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/09/2030 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bryan Dougan (2 - 10) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Brad Mathew(15(2) - 22) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Dougan advances into close range.  Mathew lands a left uppercut.

Dougan drives a left hook into Mathew's body.  
Dougan throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dougan throws a right uppercut, but Mathew holds on to his opponent.  Dougan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dougan to stop fouling.  
Mathew manouvers Dougan into a neutral corner.  Dougan is on target with a left hook.  Mathew holds on to his opponent.  Mathew leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Mathew's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mathew lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mathew hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mathew advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Dougan switches the action to the outside.  Dougan feints a cross, and then lands with a stiff jab.  
Mathew advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mathew is looking to close the distance and walks Dougan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Dougan digs in a right hook to Mathew's ribs.
