Dave Sanders vs Rob Cole

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/12/2030 from Sunshine Coast, Australia:

The Sunshine Coast venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (87(1) - 5) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Rob Cole(14(1) - 20) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Sanders is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Cole tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cole drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Cole walks Sanders down, trapping him in a corner.  Cole is on target with a left uppercut to Sanders's liver.  
Sanders is on target with a left hook to Cole's ribs.  
Sanders feints a right hook, and then lands a jab.  
Cole advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Sanders switches the action to the outside.  Sanders attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Cole time to recover.  
Sanders is on target with a jab.  
Sanders quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cole finds the target with a jab.  Cole throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Cole is looking to close the distance and walks Sanders down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cole digs in a left hook to Sanders's ribs.  
Sanders is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cole connects with a firm cross.  
Cole closes the distance and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Sanders steps to the outside.  Sanders feints a left hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cole manouvers Sanders into a corner.  Sanders hits home with a right hook.

Cole advances into close range.  Cole throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Sanders's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Sanders throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Cole steps inside.  Cole sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Cole manouvers Sanders onto the ropes.  Cole sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Sanders hits home with a left hook.  
Sanders switches the action to the outside.  Cole strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Sanders is on target with a cross to Cole's body.  
Sanders is on target with a jab.  
Cole snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Cole lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Cole is on target with a left uppercut.  
Sanders tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.
