Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/04/2031 from Sunshine Coast, Australia:

The Sunshine Coast venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (112(1) - 6) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Ellis Brent(4 - 7) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Sanders steps away from his opponent.  Sanders feints a right hook, and then lands a jab.  
Sanders tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sanders steps away from his opponent and lands a solid jab.

Brent closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Brent quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Brent throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sanders tries to keep the action at long range.  Sanders feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Brent steps inside and throws a left hook, but Sanders holds on to his opponent.  Sanders uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Brent behind the head. 
Sanders steps to the outside.  Sanders feints a cross, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Brent throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sanders feints a cross, and then finds the target with a hard jab.  
Brent lands a sharp overhand right.  
Sanders throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sanders is on target with a sharp overhand left.

Brent leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Brent pushes his forearm into Sanders's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Brent.  
Sanders steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sanders hits home with a hard jab.

Sanders feints a left, and then lands an overhand left, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Sanders is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Brent throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Brent manages to force Sanders onto the ropes.  Brent throws a left hook, but Sanders ties up his opponent.  Brent throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Brent and breaks the clinch.
