Ian Parirenyatwa vs Oliver Muzorewa

Boxing Daily Report from the Zimbabwe National Finals 2031,  taking place on 26/04/2031 from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe:

The Bulawayo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Parirenyatwa (1 - 4) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Oliver Muzorewa(3 - 16) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Muzorewa connects with a cross.  
Muzorewa connects with a left uppercut.  
Muzorewa is on target with a right uppercut to Parirenyatwa's body.  
Parirenyatwa pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Parirenyatwa walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Muzorewa is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Muzorewa lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Parirenyatwa gets on the inside.  Parirenyatwa pivots to the side of his opponent, but Muzorewa lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Muzorewa manouvers Parirenyatwa into a neutral corner.  Muzorewa lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Muzorewa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but  throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Muzorewa to the neutral corner.  He tells Parirenyatwa he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Muzorewa lands a cross to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Muzorewa hits home with a cross.  
Parirenyatwa advances into close range.  Muzorewa digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Muzorewa attempts to land a right hook, but Parirenyatwa slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Muzorewa steps away from his opponent and lands a cross to Parirenyatwa's body.  
Parirenyatwa connects with a stinging cross.  
Parirenyatwa closes the distance.  Parirenyatwa sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Muzorewa throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Parirenyatwa is on target with a left hook to Muzorewa's ribs.  
Parirenyatwa hits home with a cross.  
Parirenyatwa steps inside.  Muzorewa is on target with a right hook.  
Muzorewa lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Muzorewa manouvers Parirenyatwa into a corner.  Muzorewa connects with a cross.  
Muzorewa steps to the outside.  Muzorewa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Muzorewa lands a cross.  Muzorewa attempts to land a jab, but Parirenyatwa parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Muzorewa switches the action to the outside.  Parirenyatwa throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Parirenyatwa steps inside.  Muzorewa throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Muzorewa ties up his opponent.  Muzorewa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Parirenyatwa behind the head. The referee warns Muzorewa and breaks the clinch.  
Parirenyatwa steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Muzorewa's body.  
Parirenyatwa advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Muzorewa is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Muzorewa is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Parirenyatwa manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Parirenyatwa attempts to land a left hook, but Muzorewa blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Parirenyatwa connects with a stinging right hook.  
Muzorewa hits home with a right hook.  Muzorewa ties up his opponent.  Muzorewa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Muzorewa manages to work his way out of the clinch.
