Roberto Sturani vs Mason Mullins

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/02/2034 from Kansas City, USA:

The Kansas City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roberto Sturani (2 - 4) who hails from New York City, USA and Mason Mullins(44(5) - 5) from Kansas City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Mullins gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Mullins steps inside and digs in a right hook to Sturani's body.  
Sturani switches the action to the outside.  Mullins tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook to Mullins's ribcage.

Mullins advances into close range.  Mullins voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Sturani accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Mullins.  Sturani lands a solid left hook.  
Sturani steps away from his opponent.  Mullins is on target with a jab.  
Mullins advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Sturani is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mullins is on target with a stinging jab to his opponents body.  Mullins throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sturani switches the action to the outside and connects with a stinging cross.  Sturani tries to land a cross, but Mullins sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Sturani tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mullins lands a solid jab.  
Mullins lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mullins advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mullins is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Sturani quickly recovers. 
Mullins closes the distance and connects with a solid left uppercut.  Mullins clinches his opponent.  Mullins is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Sturani pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mullins lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mullins ties up his opponent.  Mullins pushes his forearm into Sturani's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mullins to stop fouling.  
Sturani steps away from his opponent and is on target with a firm cross.  
Mullins lands a jab.  
Sturani steps to the outside.  Mullins lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Sturani lands a cross.  
Sturani sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mullins is on target with a cross.  
Sturani quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Mullins lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mullins lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Mullins tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Sturani quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sturani drives a left hook into Mullins's body.  Mullins holds on to his opponent.  Mullins leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sturani quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mullins throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Mullins holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Sturani pushes his forearm into Mullins's face.  The ref breaks Mullins's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sturani sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mullins lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Sturani tries to keep the action at long range.  Mullins lands a ramrod jab.  
Mullins is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mullins lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STURANI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Sturani almost instantly recovers. 
Sturani switches the action to the outside.  Mullins lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Mullins is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to Sturani's ribs.  
Mullins advances into close range.  Sturani sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mullins whips in a hurtful right uppercut to Sturani's body.  STURANI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Mullins closes the distance.  Sturani pivots from in front of his opponent, but Mullins lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STURANI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Sturani can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mullins!
