Michi Shimizu vs Raiden Kitamura

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/03/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michi Shimizu (18 - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Raiden Kitamura(0 - 5) from Toyota, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.

Kitamura pivots to the right of his opponent, but Shimizu connects with a cross.

Shimizu walks his opponent into the corner.  Shimizu hits home with a right uppercut.

Shimizu snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.

Shimizu connects with a firm right hook.  Shimizu ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Shimizu pushes his forearm into Kitamura's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shimizu throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Shimizu ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Shimizu pushes his forearm into Kitamura's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shimizu about fouling.  
Kitamura throws a right hook, but Shimizu clinches his opponent.  Kitamura is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shimizu manouvers Kitamura into the red corner.  Shimizu is on target with a left uppercut.  
Shimizu lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Kitamura throws a right hook, but Shimizu clinches his opponent.  Shimizu hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Kitamura uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Shimizu behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shimizu lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kitamura recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Shimizu advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Shimizu steps inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to Kitamura's ribs.  Shimizu attempts to land a right hook, but Kitamura sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Shimizu hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kitamura's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
