Hikaru Okubo vs Hajime Nakamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2034,  taking place on 26/03/2034 from Kawasaki, Japan:

The Kawasaki venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hikaru Okubo (21 - 9) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Hajime Nakamoto(4 - 5) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Nakamoto switches the action to the outside.  Okubo lands a solid cross.  
Okubo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Okubo advances into close range.  Nakamoto throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Okubo steps inside.  Okubo lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Okubo steps to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Nakamoto lands a left uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Okubo manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Okubo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Okubo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Okubo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Okubo retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Nakamoto is whaling away with hooks, but Okubo keeps his defence tight.

Nakamoto digs in a solid left hook to Okubo's body.  
Okubo is on target with a stinging cross.  
Okubo is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Nakamoto's ribs.  
Okubo digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nakamoto hits home with a right uppercut.  
Nakamoto steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Okubo is looking to close the distance.  Nakamoto tries to land a left hook, but Okubo slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.
