Jake Boliver vs John Cochrane

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2034,  taking place on 17/04/2034 from Wellington, New Zealand:

The Wellington venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jake Boliver (23(1) - 21) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and John Cochrane(12 - 4) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Cochrane pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cochrane attempts to land a jab, but Boliver dodges the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Cochrane feints a jab, fooling Boliver into launching a left hook counter.  Cochrane springs the trap, countering with  a solid left uppercut.

Boliver pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm cross.  
Boliver steps inside.  Cochrane lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cochrane digs in a left hook to Boliver's ribs.  
Cochrane lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Boliver pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Cochrane connects with a left hook.  
Cochrane lands a sharp left hook.  
Cochrane lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cochrane throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Boliver hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Boliver attempts to land a right hook, but Cochrane blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
