Bilal Mir vs David McClimon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/04/2034 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bilal Mir (20 - 20(2)) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and David McClimon(7 - 4) from Sydney, Australia.  

Round 1: 

McClimon steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  McClimon throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.

McClimon advances into close range and manouvers Mir onto the ropes.  McClimon connects with a solid right hook.  Mir clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mir pushes his forearm into McClimon's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mir about fouling.  
Mir lands a cross.  
McClimon attempts to land a cross, but Mir sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Mir lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Mir is on target with a sharp cross.  
McClimon connects with a cross.  
McClimon lands a jab.  
McClimon is on target with a right hook.  
Mir tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McClimon drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
McClimon attempts to land a jab, but Mir sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
McClimon closes the distance and manages to force Mir onto the ropes.  Mir hits home with a firm left hook.  Mir clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Mir's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
