Ryo Shima vs Quennel Nolle

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/05/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ryo Shima (31(2) - 19) who hails from Machida, Japan and Quennel Nolle(1 - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  

Round 1: 

Shima lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Shima throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Shima clinches his opponent.  Nolle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Shima throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Nolle's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Shima steps away from his opponent.  Nolle tries to land a cross, but Shima sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Shima tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Shima lands a firm overhand left.  
Nolle throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shima switches the action to the outside.  Nolle is on target with a stinging cross.  
Shima lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Nolle feints a cross, but Shima ignores the feint and lands with a cross.  
Shima lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Shima closes the distance.  Nolle throws a left hook, but Shima clinches his opponent.  Shima uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Nolle behind the head. 
Shima is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shima lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nolle sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Shima hits home with a cross.  
Shima is on target with a right hook.  
Shima gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Shima lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Shima holds on to his opponent.  Shima is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shima.  
Shima hits home with a solid cross.

Nolle gets on the inside.  Shima lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Nolle quickly recovers. 
Shima is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Shima ties up his opponent.  Shima hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Shima is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shima lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  Shima holds on to his opponent.  Shima pushes his forearm into Nolle's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shima about fouling.  
Shima advances into close range.  Nolle throws a left hook, but Shima ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Shima pushes his forearm into Nolle's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shima.  
Shima forces Nolle to back into the blue corner.  Shima lands a left hook.  
Shima pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nolle tries to land a right uppercut, but Shima slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shima switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Nolle pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Shima is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nolle connects with an overhand left.  
Shima lands a cross.  
Shima switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
Shima lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Nolle's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Shima switches the action to the outside.  Nolle could be stopped here, if Shima can find the right shot!  Shima lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS NOLLE DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Shima!
