Bilal Mir vs Paul McColgan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/06/2034 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bilal Mir (21 - 21(2)) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Paul McColgan(1 - 1) from Geelong, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Mir lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mir is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
McColgan feints a right, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Mir steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
McColgan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.

McColgan walks Mir down, trapping him on the ropes.  McColgan is on target with a jab.  
Mir switches the action to the outside.  McColgan tries to land a jab, but Mir sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Mir drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  McColgan connects with an overhand left.  
McColgan steps inside.  Mir lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McColgan forces Mir to retreat onto the ropes.  Mir drives a firm right uppercut into McColgan's ribcage.  
Mir tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mir feints a right hook, and then connects with a cross.  
Mir finds the target with a solid jab.  
McColgan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mir connects with a cross.  
McColgan attempts to land a jab, but Mir blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.
